Pontiac GTO 1966 Description

OK: I am listing this for a friend. Here's a 66 GTO Convert up for grabs. It looks fantasti, runs excellent and is exceptionally nice quality throughout. It was painted it's original color, Reef Turquoise, base coat/clear coat and it's looking fantastic!
The body is very straight with very little filler and it is basically 99.9% rust free with no known rust repairs. The chrome sparkles and the white top and parchment interior are beautiful. The closer one looks the more impressed they will be!
The power train is the correct block, a 389 4 barrel, automatic transmission. The codes are: 389-4 barrel "YS", 49 state, built in Baltimore, MD. Heads: 093. Block: # 977 87 89. Date code D 76 (April 7, 1966). Body: 0-4C (3rd week in April). Rear end: 3:08 posi YE #978 33 93, J 86 . PHS, build sheet and other documentation is available on request
The engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, gas tank, and exhaust were all rebuilt and have approximately 10K on them. This car runs and drives excellent. It is tight and with the top up it is fairly quiet.
Non-original items are the air conditioning, 215 75 X 14 red line tires on stock reproduction 7" Rally I wheels, an Edlebrock intake manifold with a Holly Carb. The radio/CD player and speakers are done nicely. The radiator is cooled with an electric fan.
The reserve is $33,500. and there is NO buy it now. Once the reserve is lifted the final high bid will own it. We reserve the right to remove this listing as the car is offered for sale locally. A deposit of $1,000 is due within 48 hours of the auction's closing. Balance before pick-up. The buyer has 2 weeks from auction closing to pick up the vehicle.
