Not only is this a super low mileage car (Just under 19,000) it has a lot of paperwork to back it up!
Let start with the “bullet-proof” General Motors Canada paper as shown in our pictures. As we all know, ts hard enough to find a car with paperwork, et alone having Canadian paperwork.
Also shown in our pictures are the PHS “Pontiac Historical Society” documents. These documents decode the car and back up the authenticity of the car. According to the paperwork, his GTO Judge was built in Pontiac Michigan and came straight out of Detroit and shipped to Southpark Motors LTD in Edmonton, B Canada.
Pop this awesome A-Body’s hood and you’ll find an original, 00 cubic inch Ram Air III V8 that’s branded with a familiar 9790071 casting number, correct “YZ” engine stamp and a matching 325893 partial VIN. Turning stout 10.75 to 1 compression into 366 horsepower and 445 lb./ft. of torque, his fully rebuilt powerhouse utilizes original, pen chamber heads, ardened valve seats, hydraulic cam and a double roller timing chain to provide the legendary Pontiac performance we all know and have come to love. Atop the engine sits a correct Satin Black air cleaner that funnels fresh air into a big, 4-barrel carburetor. Behind that carburetor, traditional points distributor that shoots spark though a fresh set of spark plug wires. Below those cables, estored, ast iron exhaust manifolds roar into large, rue-dual pipes. Look closely at the pictures of the underside and you’ll notice that’s a fresh correct Gardner exhaust system on this beauty. In front of those new pipes, beefy radiator hangs a correct fan shroud between pliable GM hoses, eproduction tower clamps and a standard issue pulley fan. The hot Pontiac block displays slick Turquoise pigment from its intake all the way to its oil pan. The car’s fenders, irewall and hood are covered in a smooth combination of Carousel Red and Black. And niceties such as chrome valve covers, stainless fluid lines and a new battery topper can be found in all the right places.
Make your way to the underside pictures of this car on the lift and you’ll see a highly detailed and fresh looking underside restoration. Included in that is new and correct Gardner exhaust, ew fuel tank, nd all the correct markings and tags that would have come from the factory.
Take a look inside the car and you’ll find a correct original looking Parchment interior that plays perfectly against the car’s bright exterior color. This car with its low, ow miles, ooks and performs just about as good as the day it left the factory. As far as we can tell, t is all original and shows very little wear. Take a look and you can be the judge of how we have described it.
The sale of this stunning classic includes the huge stack of paperwork shown in our photos as well as a lot of other documentation that we have, ut didn’t scan and show you here. There is also a nicely framed show display board and model die-cast car that is included.
This pristine Judge is certainly one of the coolest GTOs we’ve ever featured. And most diehard Pontiac fans will agree that 1969 was the year Pontiac set the bar pretty high as far as terms of styling, erformance and exclusivity. With a professional restoration, correct drivetrain, uper low miles, nd great looking paint, t would be a costly mistake to pass this one up as a collector or as an enthusiast.
