Ford Other 1937 Description

1937 Ford Carson Removable Hard Top Street Rod

This is One Outstanding Rod

This 1937 Ford has had the same owner for 28 years. Not only that Dean built this car from the ground up. Doing only the best of the best. The Ford started out life as a 5 window coupe. Now has a Carson top. The Carson top is built out of aluminum so it is lightweight and only 4 bolts to remove it. As a hearts cloth blacktop so it looks like a convertible. The rear end is all Jaguar so you have 4 wheel independent suspension. When you look at this car you can tell that it was well thought out. The best part it runs and drives like it looks. Look at the photos showing the neon signs in the background. The whole car is beautiful. It’s running a 350 Chevy small block with a turbo 350 automatic transmission. I like the fact that he installed power steering. Power windows. Air conditioning but no heater. Electric doors. Manual trunk. The right rear fender is glass. I like the way Dean did things like the seat belts retracting into the floor. It has real knock off wheels. Jumper cables custom made that have a socket under the right running board. So far I’ve taken it cruising one night. It’s so clean and like new I don’t want to get it dirty. Cond. # 1
