Ford F-100 1960 Description

Very original - 292 V8 – 4 speed manual - 2 speed transfer case – factory hubs - 3.92 : 1 axle ratios

Engine replaced with rebuilt in the past – starts instantly – run very quietly.

Generator replaced with alternator – original wiring and regulator still in place for restoration.

Body near perfect with no large dents.

Repainted in original colors within the last 8 years – not a show quality job.

Headliner replaced with paint – sags in middle - missing some sort of center support – see photo.

Seat recovered in vinyl – serviceable.

Striping tape between colors.

Had cheep-o spray-in bed liner added with paint – peeling - See photo.

Right rear finder has dent where bumper bent into it. See photo

Driver side window has crack in top-front, outside layer only - See photo.

Speedometer replaced – mileage set to original – mileage assumed to be 167,000.

Has 700X16 mud & snow tires – not new but usable

All lights, windshield wipers and heater work.

Added period appropriate seat belts.

Replaced several drive line seals, but this is a 51 year old vehicle and it still drips a little oil.

Replaced left rear axle bearing and seal.

Replaced front brake shoes and shock absorbers.

Replaced Carburetor and Fuel Pump (thank you ethanol)

No spare tire, jack or lug wrench.

Has a reproduction owner’s manual.

As is this is a daily driver, but would be perfect candidate for a frame-off restoration.
