Dodge Challenger 1970 Description
true 4 speed 318 70 challenger...fiberglass fenders and scoop on stock hood for rebuild or parts, pretty solid for a 70,needs lots of metal work,no title or fender tag,has top door rail trim holes and horizontal trim which have been filled sometime in a past paintjob apparently to delete the chrome,so assuming western special (or challenger deputy that had rear window regs added),as vin is not an rt or s e and vin is everywhere it belongs on car and all match vin tag.clear vins with bill of sale i received when i bought car off an ohio dealer a few years ago, has 8 3/4 rear and pig still there too as are the 1970 drum brakes and the stock challenger big block / small block combination k member, car is a non power steering gearbox car i beleive which was pretty standard on the deputy and western sports too..too many projects so selling cheap need the garage space..have partial quarters and everything else pictured, nothing else..true 4 speed v8 70 challenger most likely a deputy or western sport special,i towed it 6 hours at 70mph with front wheels on tow dolly and rears on the ground behind my kids 28mpg dodge caravan with a class 2 hitch,so pretty solid car, towed great and straight, doors open and close without sagging, rockers are pretty solid still too so not like you need and expensive gas hog v8 truck n trailer to haul it home either.i expect full pmt in a timely matter even if you need a few weeks to pick up,pay in full, pick up at your convenience..thxOn Jun-20-16 at 18:12:21 PDT, seller added the following information:all glass is there in good shape except windshield (which is only 229.00 installed for a new one through glass american or safelight at your home or business) i can't find any signs car ever had a vynal top, which if i'm right makes it kinda unusual for a 70 challenger from what i recall as a 52 year old mopar man myself.thx
