Chevrolet Camaro 1969 Description
Selling my 1969 X-11 Code SS Camaro. The car underwent a restoration about 10 years ago and has very low miles and has been enjoyed at car rallies and the Saturday night car hop. The car is not a trailer queen and can be driven to enjoy on the weekends.
Trim tag decodes as the follow:
VIN: 124379N02828
Car was built out of the Norwood, Ohio plant, build date was 4th week in October, 1969, 711 code for standard black interior, body color was originally dover white with black vinyl top, X-11 code was for the SS 350 package, only 1 out of 10 X-11 coded cars are actually SS with 350's.
Car has a 350ci V8engine, with Turbo 400 Automatic transmission, Silver Exterior Paint with a great shine, and Black SS Striping, Black Standard Interior, Vintage Air Conditioning, Aluminum Intake Manifold, Headers, SS Badging, Power Steering, Disc Brakes In Front. New Rims/Tires with Rev Rims/Front 235/45/ZR17, and Rear 245/45/ZR18's. Trunk has original Rally spare.
Car runs great and the body is very straight along with the paint. Interior is Black on Black in is in very good condition as well. See photos for both.
Please bid on the car only if you intend to purchase, it is located in Tempe, AZ and I am glad to show it to you or send more pictures if needed. If you have any questions please email me and I can set up a phone call to go over any details or questions you have.
The body of the car is solid, with what I believe original sheet metal.
There are some very small imperfections on the car and are all listed:
-car is wired for a radio but I never installed one, speakers are not installed either
-paint is very good, has one small chip between engine hood and radiator area, the size of a tip of your finger, chrome onright side above rear window has small chip also. Interior is great no rips or tears and looks almost new but the seat belts show a little wear. Horn does not work and needs to be replaced. Surface rust under the car and is normal for year, strictly surface rust. Window cranks in rear have been replaced, front driver window needs adjustment, it sits a little high.
Bid with confidence, I have tried to list everything about the car, please email me with any questions, this Camaro is ready to enjoy and needs a new home. It has been garaged and covered since I have owned it. I can also take a video of the car driving and email it as well.
