Very Original

With only 2101 400hp cars produced in 1967, his is one of the earliest examples we have seen.

This car is extremely original, ith a long list of original parts still on or with the car.

The car is running and driving. It was meticulously brought back to safe driving condition.

An original 1967 Tri-Power is one of the best investment cars. Where many muscle cars have fallen off in price over the years, he 1967 Corvette 427 Tri-Power is stronger than ever.

The engine sounds and runs great.

The engine (original to the car) was carefully checked, iled and pre lubricated before any attempt to turn it over. It has new plugs, orrect wires, oints, alve cover gaskets replaced while saving the original parts.

The original carburetors were cleaned, ebuilt and restored to proper working condition!

The external engine parts are original, he alternator, tarter and distributor are the originals as well!

Original air cleaner and distributor shielding.

Original exhaust manifolds and fasteners still in place.

Hoses were replaced due to age, ut we kept the originals for historical purposes.

The brakes have been checked and serviced; remanufactured calipers and master cylinder were installed, e keeping the original parts as well.

The rotors were removed and machined (for the first time).

The back half of the exhaust was broken at the mufflers, o it was replaced with restoration quality parts and the old parts retained for historical purposes. The front half is still the original.

The cars drive train is all original!

The transmission and differential are the original that car came with as well as the drive shaft and half shafts are original and the universal joints are original also.

Original spare tire!

The body:

The old lacquer paint looks amazingly well!

Elkhart Blue with Black interior.

The body looks original, ack in 67 you could see the bonding strips where the panels were assembled.

Being an early production 67, his car has the Original Bow Tie logo driver’s side mirror.

The interior and soft top, re original to the car!

Original Chrome and Stainless are original and look great!

Once again, his is an original car, hat some call a barn find or time capsule. This car is also in running and driving condition!

Original Wiper arms, ppears to be original blades.

Original LOF glass!

Many of the cars advertised like this are NOT drivable, ither old & worn out, n older restoration (showing its age) or (I hate to say it) clones.

This car is original!

The Story:

The current owner (diseased), ook possession of the car 8/7/1968. The story he was told, he original owner went to theChevrolet Dealer down the road from their house andpurchased the car for their son in 67. When the son went to Vietnam, he family sold it to the current owner.

NCRS verified the sale from Folk Chevrolet Akron, hio.

The current owner drove the car till the early 70’s where it went into storage. The widow was dating the owner in 71 and got married in 1972. The owner loved the car but with school and family just didn’t have the time to enjoy it. It was moved from storage to the home they built in 76, t got started and moved in the drive but never got it back on the road.

Currently the odometer is not working, he owner did keep hand written records of dates, ileage and amount if fuel used. The records show the same 9510 miles from 3/1/69 to 1971. The notes show about 487 gal of fuel use, o we estimate the mileage in the 14,000-15,000 range, hich corresponds with the originality and condition of the car.
