Chevrolet Chevelle 1966 Description
Car is located in Carrollton, hio 44615This Hot Rod started out life as a mild mannered 1966 Malibu, ts now a big block breathing resto-mod that was built to drive and enjoy daily. It has all the SS badges but best of all it has an SS drive-train. Under the hood is a healthy 396/350 hp engine that has recently had the top end gone over and is in excellent running condition. Aluminum intake,Holley carb and nice performance cam. Full dual exhaust with a throaty sound.
Saginaw 4-speed,10 bolt rear-end and built to crusie. $7000. just invested to make the car what it is. Engine casting number 3969854, ront pad- TO216CTX / 10A136914.The body is very clean, ust-free and straight with gleaming Black paint that has a super deep shine. A Black car has to be straight and this car is no exception. No rust issues and undercarriage and trunk are rust free and clean. This car has an extensive ground up restoration that appears as a frame-off, ust a really nice job all the way around. There is one spot on the passenger side door/fender gap that has been touched up due to a bad door adjustment that has since been addressed, othing major but worth mentioning. (see close up photo) The rest of this car shows very well and a lot of time was done in preparation to get it this straight and deep lustre shine. What a great stance this car has and it was achieved with Hotchkiss lowering springs and the car is sitting on 20's on the back and 18's on the front. Runs, rives and handles great, ot just a great looking car it was built to perform as well. Disc brakes in the front and drum on the rear stops this hot rod just fine. See the last photo which is an invoice of work performed during restoration which is extensive. I can also email this to anyone interested.Interior is vintage 1966 keeping with the original 1966 mystique. Front buckets and console all wrapped in Red. Nothing like a Black car with Red interior, show winner waiting to happen no doubt.Turn-key ready for the new owner to enjoy! Check out my seller feedback. My cars are "as described", o fluffing.
