Up for sale we have a 1964 Chevrolet Impala. This car has been cloned to look like a SS 409 and has went through a full body off restoration. We have pictures from where it was pulled down to a shell and stored for many decades before going through the rotisserie restoration. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Impala. From first glance, you will see that the body is straight down the sides with excellent gaps at the doors, hood, and trunk. The body is covered in the Satin Silver paint that has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine that's slick as a ribbon! When restored new bumpers were installed front and rear. The rest of the emblems and stainless are in great condition with some light nicks and aging. All the glass is in great condition and has had new seals installed. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 15" Rallyes with BF Goodrich Silvertown Red Lines.
Next, we will look at the interior of the '64. On the inside, it's done in the Silver with Black Accents. It features the front bucket seats with the Super Sport Console that houses the Four Speed Shifter. The seat covers are all like new along with the padding in the seats. It has had the door panels replaced as well and they are done in silver with black carpet accent. The headliner was replaced and has an excellent fit with all the top stainless also being like new. Looking at the dash all the metal and gauges are in great condition. In the trunk it's got the Spare, Jack, and the mats.
Finally, we will look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood everything is neat and clean with the inner fenders and firewall being painted body color. The engine is dressed is a 409, but is a 348 block that's mated to the Muncie Four Speed and the stock style rear end. It's got chrome valve covers and breather, and the exhaust flows through stock style manifolds with dual pipes and Flow Master Mufflers. This Impala comes with Disc Brakes up front and it also has had new ball joints and bushings installed. When you look under this car you'll see the floors are painted body color and everything else has a phenomenal detail.
