Up for sale we have a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. One of the most iconic cars ever built the '57 bel Air features gorgeous body lines with timeless chrome and stainless accents. The one we have for you has been body on restored and was upgraded with lots of new driver options. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Bel Air. It's done in the eye popping Black paint that covers a rock solid body with great body lines and fit of all the panels. The paint is done in Base Coat Clear Coat and has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine that's slick to the touch. At the time of the restoration new bumpers were installed. The rest of the chrome and stainless is in great condition with some of it having been replaced as well. You'll notice it has the Gold V8 Trim on the hood, trunk and fenders. Looking at the glass it all shows well with new seals around the windshield and back glass. New weather stripping around the doors and in the trunk was also installed. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 18x7 and 20x9 Polished Coy Wheels.
Next, we will move to the interior of this '57. On the inside, it has the stock look with the front and rear bench seats. It's done in the factory style color combo with Red Vinyl seats that have the black inserts. The door panels are also the stock style and done in the Red and Black. All of the metal trim and dash are painted red. Looking at the dash you can see it has the stock style gauges and all the stainless is very nice. The radio has been upgraded and it also comes with Vintage A/C that has the vents mounted under the dash. A set of seatbelts have been installed as well. To complete the interior, it has a red headliner and black carpet.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood everything is neat and clean with the firewall and inner fenders being painted black. The engine is a 350 that has an Edelbrock Intake and Carb. It's dressed with Chrome Valve covers and Breather. Also, the radiator support is done in chrome and a set of chrome pulleys have been added. The vintage A/C unit features a chrome compressor and to keep this '57 cool is has an Aluminum Radiator. This Bel Air comes with a 350 Turbo Trans and the stock style rear end. For exhaust, it has Headers with Dual Pipes and FlowMaster Mufflers. To go along with the A/C it also has Power Steering, and the brakes were upgraded with a dual reservoir master cylinder and drilled and slotted disc brakes up front. When you look under it the frame and floors are in good condition with new body bushings installed.
