Chevrolet Corvette 1972 Description

Price Lowered to $37,000 obo from $39,500 obo.
Selling my RARE, low mileage 1972 LT-1 Corvette Survivor. This Corvette has only 50,962 Documented miles. The previous owner had this Corvette for 22 years before his passing. I purchased it from his widow in 2015. This car was originally purchased new at Kuchinka Chevrolet in Bellaire,
OH per the NCRS Shipping Data Report, included with the sale. This car remained in Ohio all of it's life until I purchased it last year. Also included is the original Tank Sticker, verifying the options of this rare beauty. This Corvette is rust free, with a solid frame and solid birdcage.
This car has the complete matching #s drive train, including the matching #s engine block, carburetor, transmission and rear end. This is the Real Deal, a Real 1972 LT-1 Corvette, not a re-stamped motor. Only 1,741 of the 27,004 Corvettes built in 1972 had the high performance LT-1 motor. Estimates are that only about 400 of the 6,508 convertibles built in 1972 had the LT-1 high performance motor.
1972 is the Only year of the three year LT-1 period (1970 - 1972) that the Corvette LT-1 is documented by having the letter L in the VIN.
This Rare 1972 LT-1 Corvette was also optioned with Power Steering, Power Brakes, AM/FM radio, and Tilt/Telescopic Steering. The P/S, P/B and Tilt/Tele steering wheel make this car a real pleasure to drive.
This Corvette is a true survivor, with the complete original interior, showing little wear. There are no rips in the seats, door panels or dash pad. Much of the Targa Blue paint is believed to be original, and after a recent color sand and buff, it still has a strong shine to it. Recently, I had a NEW Al Knoch Black Convertible Top installed, and four new brake calipers.
